My poor old
Roland Juno 106 that I bought several months ago needs to be repaired. The problem is something with the VCA chips, and some of the notes may sound a bit off. However there is
one guy in

the whole world in Belgium that clones these chips, but at a much higher level of quality. He is legitimate and I have purchased and received the chips in excellent condition.
Now, I just need to find someone to help me put the chips in...preferably an electrician of some sort. I'm not putting in the chips myself. The synth was already sparking at one point! I've turned it off since then. If you know of any keyboard repairers in the Charlotte, NC area, let me know PLEASE! :) If anyone has any problems with their Juno, you should also visit
Earpick's blog where he has a detailed description of the problem and the solution. Good luck with your 1984 Juno-106. We have to keep this keyboard alive!
